Okay this post came a lil late but the season of love is still around in the air what!! hee.. My vdae was really nice.. veggie ordered flowers to be sent to my office and it was a nice bouquet of roses (5 red ones and 1 pink one) with a green good luck care bear!! gee.. so happie! Love the bear soo much!

We then went to Seoul Garden for dinner & he gave me a talking doggie soft toy which recorded: "Happy Valentine's Day..oookhhokkkhhh.." in his voice! Soooo cute! Just wat i liked!! aniwae i cant blog much in this entry coz of the problem i mentioned earlier.. hmmm.. see the pictures below!! Have a nice day!

Big Things for 2007

I guess I have quite recovered from my sicky nose and headache.. Been at home since yest. Okay I guess I can't blog as much in each entry coz something wrong btw Singnet & Blogger.. So here's something academically that I wana share for my yr 2007.

1) To be a certified Exec Organiser by May (To get all my competency certs ready by then) and be a good financial adviser to my loved ones and friends. Don't worry, I still have my full time executive job. Not going to sell insurance all the time. :)

2) Get into UniSIM BSc Information Communications & Technology in July and get that SIM-NTUC Sponsorship (50% of course fees!) Yes I have finally decided to quit my studies for the University of Adelaide's Computer Science degree. It is better for me to go for regular classes with more applicable & interesting (to me) modules to learn.

3) Diploma in CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) exams in Oct for Insurance Law & Personal Insurance Practice. This is a professional development course and it is sponsored by Income. It is a great opportunity not to be missed!

This is a challenging year for me and I hope that I will be determined to achieve excellent results out of these courses and become a well-knowledged person in the near future :)

I joined Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour since July 05, attending the 6pm English Masses with Veggie and his mum.. Finally this is a great opportunity to find out even more about the faith and to get closer to God.

Yes I finally join the RCIA Journey 57. RCIA means Rite of Christian Intitation for Adults. Just started on 4th Feb. There will be more for me to discover.. :)

I haven't been blogging since forever!! Okay ill update later but first lemme fulfil my wish of telling everyone im soooo crazy about Peck from Thailand!! Love his songs to bit coz they are sooo RnB & Soulful.. My type of music~ Ya u can see im very very excited now.. He is sooo cute also.. ;p As I can see from the thai-translate-to-english lyrics, usually thai love songs are really soo lovey and meaningful.. As in they really kinda touch your heart with the music, rythm and of cos the special feelings you will have from the words that they sing in their songs.. :)

Genting Highlands Trip

Hoooray! I just came back from my Genting trip last nite! :) Yeah.. had been v bz lately (as usual..) coz of change of job scopes, trying to fit into the new environment.. n also been creating some new jewellery as well :)

Yes I haven been blogging since duno when.. yup i shall update my genting trip today :)

Genting Highlands Trip on 2nd Dec to 4th Dec '06!

~First Day 2nd Dec~
Okay the coach gota leave at 6.30 am sharp.. so we had to wake up reeeeaaaallllly early on Saturday.. hmm we reach ICA before 6am! but.. only to find out that the waiting place is opposite Lavender MRT station... the itenerary did say that it is AT ICA (Lavender MRT Stn) what.... :x Anyway.. we board the bus without too much delay.. n here we go to Malaysia!! :)

On the coach~ I slept at ard 1.30am the nite before and woke up at 4.45 am in the morning. i expect to fall into deep slp while in the coach but i din! hmm.. luckily i had my ipod shuffle n my korean songs! :p :p

Now we are at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.. (Sad to say...) The country that has got lousy service and bad environmental condition... :x (I'm sorry to Malaysians if you are reading this.. but the country really isn't as clean as Singapore and I am really proud to say that at least Singapore is much much more service oriented in most areas.. :x)

Gee.. Lee Hom for Celcom Malaysia! They have alot of these big big sign boards for advertisments.. It's really interesting to see them!

So misty! It started to rain very heavily went we were about to reach the top of the mountain..

Yay we reach Genting Highlands First World Hotel! A 3-star hotel and err.. our room was not cleaned when we check in.. So BAD rite!? Omg.. And we called the Housekeeping number and they say they will get someone to clean it asap. So we went to walk ard with our heavy bags at the First World Plaza to check out what we can do in the meantime.. 1 hour later we went back and IT WAS NOT CLEANED YET!!!! How can that happen!!? Oh gosh.. luckily we saw the cleaners nearby and asked them to clean it immediately.. We nearly wana lodge a complaint but somehow we realised that it is of no use.. They probably cant be bothered.. :x So we had to go out again and walk for another 35 mins.. So sad.. so heavy.. Finally we went back to our cleaned room at 4.30pm.. Few hours wasted just like that.. :x Well apart from the uncleaned room thing, everything else seems fine.. So I will still recommend the hotel IF YOU ARE GOING ON A BUDGET HOLIDAY...

We din go into the Haunted Adventure coz we were both TOOO SCARED!! haha.. and i took a pic of the guy standing outside like some bouncer.. :p He can't be bothered to pose for me anyway! He just crossed his arms all the way while i took pics of him.. Chey!

We din do much on the first day coz of the silly hours wasted for the room to be cleaned so that we can put our bags inside.. :x The only thing we did was to line up (FOR SOOO LONG!) for the 4D motion master show.. It was Ali Baba showing.. Ok show but we think that the 3D glasses are spoilt! The images dun really pop out in front of you.. You could see that the pictures are still in the screen.. (Singapore Discovery Centre ones are better!!!!) The only fun part is the sudden mist/smoke that is sprayed at our neck when the show was showing a sharp spear coming out of the wall..And also the snakes that suddenly Ssss around your legs! Hee.. ya.. these are the only fun parts.. :)

Then we went for buffet dinner at Genting Ballroom at Genting Hotel. Yup the food was ok la.. the whole placed was booked by Income SRC as it was for the SRC Family Day '06. Me and veggie won some consolation prize during the lucky draw.. A free Mysteria Genting Highlands polo-tee and sports bag.. :) Haha.. aiya why only lucky here and not during the SRC dinner that was held in June..!!? :p

My first day ended quite badly cos i was down with a headache n dry nose! n i couldn go visit more stuff after the buffet dinner.. so veggie had to pei me go back to hotel room and take my medicine n slp early.. i guess itz coz i couldn slp in the coach at all and therefore lack of slp.. And oh.. plus the coach aircon also.. :x

~2nd Day 3rd Dec~

Yay!! It's time for OUTDOOR THEMEPARK! hahaha a very nice view of the themepark + First World Hotel..

The FLYING COASTER! Haha.. I was acually VERY VERY SCARED coz i have phobia for Roller Coasters! but i played 2 times of Flying Coaster! haha we payed extra RM10 just to get to play this and we are entitled to 5 times of the ride! Haha it was really fun and the most thrilling one that I have ride on at the outdoor theme park! It is their signature ride! But somehow i thought it could feel even more scary before i played it!!! Yay!! and we paid for the photos which we are in the ride for RM8 each ONLY! Yes it is a must-go-on-this-ride Ride!

Yay the dinosaurland! Hmm.. itz nothing much actually but the park is quite nice for taking pictures.. :)

Yay! The cyclone! Gee.. Malaysia's First Roller Coaster (it says) But we have to queue up SUPER LONG for all the rides so most of the time was spent on queueing.. :x But this one is really fun! Itz an appetizer for those thrilling rides.. :)

Then we sat on the Flying Dragon (din take pic of it) and itz very excting as well! :) haha it just runs/flys ard the wet park area and in to the First Worl Plaza and out and twirls ard n back! :)

The CorkScrew Roller Coaster! We see alot of ppl queueing up for this.. Seems super fun but SCARY! Veggie later wanted to try it but i was insistent that i will have no regrets even if i dun try it :) haha coz im really VERY SCARED! Especially the turnings and the circles and the high high drops! OMG!!! haha.. so i told veggie that we go play flying coaster first then come back i see him play the CorkScrew Roller Coaster.. But somehow i was too tired n a lil sick (again!) after the 2 rounds of Flying Coaster (but it was reallllyyy fun!).. so me n veggie went to eat Pizza Hut!

Yuummmyyy Large Pepperoni Delite with Stuff Crust! :) RM30 only! And we ordered a pitcher of 7-up RM6.90 only somemore! :) Oh oh! dun eat the KFC and MacDonalds Genting pls.. they taste bad and are VERY EXPENSIVE! 1 KFC 2-pc chicken meal is RM14.90! SO CRAZY! Err.. the chicken tasted like normal malay fried chicken.. not the unique types we get to eat in Singapore.. Mac and KFC chicken tasted the same! OMG!

Okay then we we went back to the hotel room to rest.. We had to catch the "Mysteria Believe the Impossible" Show at 9pm at the Pavillion in First World Plaza.. so we left the room at ard 8pm and went to sit on the Indoor Ferris Wheel first..

A blurry view of the Plaza from the Ferris Wheel :) Oh we sat on it for like duno how many rounds! And the kids with us (we duno who they are..) kept playing and make the thing shaky! Oh my god! was so scared coz itz soo high and im actually afraid of heights one.. Anyway after that we rushed for the Mysteria show..

The mysteria show was quite interesting only when there are things to see like the magic shows, acrobatics and amazing shooting/archery.. haha.. other than that i basically fell aslp during those dancing parts which weren't worth watching..

After the show we went to ride on the Euro Express in the indoor theme park. it was SOOO FUNNN! haha.. We played a total of 4 times till 12am!

And finally i get to sit on a bumper car for the very first time in my life! haha veggie was beside me n i drove the car ard. But i was very silly coz i kept running onto the walls/pillars a few times.. wanted to bump our car onto those kids who cut our queue but failed! :x Oh the malaysians very good at cut-queuing! Oh my God.. :x

~Day 3 4th Dec~

The coach brought us first to some place in Selangor to buy their local goodies n i bought 2 big bags of muruku! Yay!! haha i love murukus.. :) And then we were brought to 1 Utama Shopping Centre at Selangor and near Petaling Jaya as well :) The shopping ctr is very big! but nothing much i could buy coz the prices are about the same as Singapore.. Only bought some cute Disney stationery which are very cheap and worth buying frm MPH. Before the trip i checked out that there are a Craft shop and Beads shop. But the stuff are all even more expensive than those sold in Singapore shops, they can be 1 or 2 times more expensive. Siao! :x Might as well come back here and buy...

We were looking for food and see what we ate!? Itz A&W! Whoaaa!! So happyyy!! Haha the float and curly fries were sooo goood! And itz cheap! Total only RM20 for both our coney dog and crispy chicken meal! Whoa soo shiok! Thatz the best fast-food meal we had for the whole genting trip :)

Okay.. finally home sweet home on the way back to Singapore.. A 6 hour journey.. God blessed us with a happy and safe trip.

The coach leader was a rather lousy one as he did not do any head count thru out and we nearly left a stop-over place without one of the coach members coming back yet. All the coach leader asked was "Is everybody here? Are your partners here already..?" Oh gosh! i mean, what if both the partners are not here? How will he noe? oh my God.. sad to say he is one of the income staff.. :x i probably will be more careful if i ever go for any activity under him.. hope therez some evaluation or feedback thing for this trip :x

Conclusion: A very happy and fun trip with dearest Veggie :D Now looking forward to the SRC Bangkok Shopping Trip with Veggie, Zandy and Marie :D YAY!

Have been buzy resting.. haven been sleeping earlie since duno when.. Anyway went for a poly classmates gathering last Saturday, but only a few of us turned up.. :p Went to Seoul Garden at Ngee Ann City..

Oh no I think I am super crazy over korean shows now and everything korean!! :D

The song that is playing now is by UN, a disbanded korean duet.. The band has got KIM JEONG HOON and some guy called Jung Won.. um.. ahhaha! He looks like F4/Scandal's Vanness! haha and looks like somebody else.. er hem.. anyway won't mention the name here.. Well well the song is about beach waves la.. so it sounded quite cute n "Vengaboys"! haha remember them?

Yup yup I love Kim Jeong Hoon and got his BEST ALBUM that has got some of his songs and some nice UN songs.. and they gave a free DVD also!! err.. but the quality like VCD la.. so not a big deal anyway.. gee.. actually hoon was soo cute and er hem.. childish when he was very young! Wif all the Ah Beng golden yellow hair.. and funny looking faces!! But now OMG! he is just the prince of every girl's dreams!!! Gee.. i noe im not VERY young anymore.. but ok la.. lemme be crazy for this while and when the korean craze is over, i should be back to normal la huh... :p :p

Brownie is back!

Oh gosh i haven been blogging! Haha.. been sooo buzi setting up my jewellery webbie and making more jewellery!! :p Actually this business has been dragging quite some time to start... Initially was Audrey Jewels with some simple pieces of fashionable jewellery.. and then it went on a break.. After the holiday, I made some nice lil earrings and bracelets and it seems that more people like my new collection.. And so I decided to call my new business Flaunt Me.

In fact I don't have much idea of how to go about doing an online biz and was a lil reluctant.. but it seems that it is the best place to showcase my new creations!! And so after dragging some more.. finally I bought my domain name and web hosting service about 2 months ago.. And (dragged again before!) soon started to play around with the osCommerce engine and some PHP scripts.. and and and Voila!! www.flauntmeshop.com is created!! :D

Okay okay, back to my life.. yeah I'm started school this coming Friday and my class schedules are such that there are 2 intensive week for each module per term. 1 intensive week will consist of a Friday nite (7pm to 10pm), saturday afternoon (1pm to 8pm) and a Sunday whole day (9am to 5pm) Phew.. lucky there is only 2 such weeks each term... Anyway coz I know my course is going to be tough.. so that's why I have decided to get my webbie up asap!! Now I'll have peace of mind..

Oh talking about "Peace of Mind", heard from my manager Ms Fang, that "A Peace of Mind" means scolding people.. so when we wana try to convince people (e.g. for travel insurance), we will say they will enjoy their holiday with "peace of mind"... Hee hee.. so funny but true!! :p Yay! A new thing learnt today! :)

Yup yupp, my laptop came without speakers (obviously...) and had been bearing with all the no-good noises that come from the built-in stereo speakers.. Finally veggie gave me a surprise today by giving me a Creative SBS 380! Oh i just realised that it may not be the fantastic Creative Gigaworks set that he owns now in his study room, nor are the designs as cute as those i-Trigues.. But it is REALLY DARN GOOD ENUFF FOR ME ALREADY!!! Now I'm blogging with all my favourite songs in BompBompBomp sounds on my new Creative speakers!! So happieee!!!

Hahaha... like very xing fu! :p :p Anyway I changed my phone (AGAIN!!!??) to the Not-New-Model Motorola Pink RAZR V3!~ Gee... i traded my Sony Ericsson K750i for this phone and got $50 back! haha.. yaya i noe im crazy coz k750i is a VERY GOOD PHONE! but i just cant help falling in love with the pink v3.. i had been eyeing it when it starts to get hot n popular.. Though now it seems like everybody is getting the Nokia N series, I still love the super chilli pepper hottie pinkie Motorola V3!! Hee....

Thunderstorm

I went to watch Thunderstorm by the The Theatre Practice at Victoria Theatre on last last Friday. It was spectacular! I mean it is a reaaallly GOOOOOOD show!! i have always loved all these kinda drama about love, marriage and affairs.. So im going to tell the story from the famous Chinese Literature.

The story is about a businessman Zhou Pu Yuan, who was in love with his house maid Lu Shi Ping back in his hometown when he was young. Shi Ping then got pregnant and gave birth to a son. The family din wana acknowledge her and the child, so they threw them out. Pu Yuan could not do anything. It was then rumoured that the Shi Ping committed suicide at a nearby river and she left behind her 3 month old son, who was then brought back by Pu Yuan. The son's name was Zhou Ping.

Years later, Zhou Pu Yuan married a young lady, Fan Yi who was 20 years his junior and had a son named Zhou Chong. Fan Yi had lived 18 years with the fact that Pu Yuan was still so guilty about Shi Ping's "death" that their house still had the old furniture which Shi Ping used. Every summer, Pu Yuan will ensure that all windows are kept shut coz Shi Ping used to do so. All these are done to keep her in memory.

Fan Yi soon got sick and had to take medication every now and then. They had a maid Si Feng to take care of her and Zhou Chong (Fan Yi's son) was in love with her. However, Si Feng and Zhou Ping (Pu Yuan & Shi Ping's son) was in love with each other very deeply. And, the funniest thing is that Si Feng is actually Shi Ping's daughter, whom she had with the man who saved her from the river 18 years ago, Lu Gui.

Above sounds very cheeem rite? Here's more.. Something happened about 2 years ago when the father Zhou Pu Yuan was in his mine for business and work. Zhou Ping (who is obviously not Fan Yi's blood-related son) & Fan Yi had sex!!! OMG! How illicit is their relationship!!! :x Fan Yi was so lonely and she really needed someone, especially after she had married an MCP like Zhou Pu Yuan, he always kept her shut when she needed him to accompany her. After Fan Yi and Zhou Ping's secret rendezvous, Fan Yi blamed Zhou Ping for seducing her! She then had slight mental problems and was too i love with Zhou Ping..

Zhou Ping was only seriously in love with Si Feng and asked Fan Yi to let him off as he went to bed with her that time only in the moment of folly.. He did not want to have anything to do with her. Not even want to have her as a stepmother. Fan Yi then got even more crazy.

Lu Gui is the housekeeper of the Zhou Family. He brought his daughter Si Feng to the Zhou's to take care of Fan Yi. And obviously as mentioned above, Lu Gui and Shi Ping got married after the river rescue and had Si Feng. So Shi Ping is Si Feng's mother. Shi Ping then came to the Zhou's house to visit her daughter as their actual house is actually back in their hometown. However, Shi Ping did not know that the house her daughter and husband are working in actually belongs to the man whose family had thrown her out 18 years ago and did not know that Zhou Ping is her real son!

Soon Shi Ping came to the house and saw that the furniture all seem familiar.. And the windows are shut!! She then realise that she has came to Zhou Pu Yuan's house!!! And worse her whole family is working for him!! Okay, Shi Ping and Lu Gui had another son, named Lu Da Hai a stubborn worker at Zhou Pu Yuan's mine. He is the one who came up with the strike and demanded that the company give them more benefits and compensation on what they deserve to have. Hmm, troublemaker..

Anyway, Zhou Pu Yuan then came back home and saw Shi Ping. He couldn't recognise her as they were too old. Only when they started to chat about their home town and about the river incident, then Zhou Pu Yuan came to realise that Shi Ping is right in front of him!! He soon apologised about what had happened and wanted to use monetary compensation for forgiveness. He also requested Shi Ping not to have anything to do with their family anymore as he was worried it will affect his reputation and his family. He did not want Zhou Ping to know about her as well. But Shi Ping wanted nothing but a chance to see her son Zhou Ping.

They then saw each other. But to Zhou Ping, Shi Ping is only Si Feng's mother.. Shi Ping was worried about Si Feng as well, as she knew that her daughther should not have anything to do with the Zhou family. She then asked Si Feng and Lu Gui to leave the house at once. Lu Gui was unhappy about it as he is a greedy useless man who only asks for money from his family.

Si Feng was very upset and Zhou Ping actually had plans to go to the mine to work for his father for a few months then come back to marry Si Feng. But Fan Yi knew all about his plans and tried ways to stop him from going. Zhou Ping told Si Feng that he will look for her at her house at 11pm that night when she and her family were to leave the Zhou's house for good. Zhou Chong, who was in love with Si Feng as well, went to look for her at her house before his brother did. He passed the $1,000 of compensation which his mum Fan Yi gave to the Lu family. But Lu Da Hai, Si Feng's brother was very angry, he returned the money to him and scolded him off. Zhou Chong then left.

Now, Si Feng was supposed to go back to hometown with her mum the next morning. She was very upset as she could not be with Zhou Ping even though they love each other so much. Shi Ping did not want Si Feng to have anything to do with the Zhou's. Later that night at 11pm, while thunderstorm had already started, Zhou Ping came to look for Si Feng from her room's window. Fan Yi followed him. Zhou Ping told Si Feng that he will come back to marry her in another few month's time after he has settled down in his father's mine. She was in a dilemma. She told him that she could not wait as she had to go back with her mum.

Fan Yi then locked the window from outside so that Zhou Ping could not escape if anybody is to come into Si Feng's room. True enuff, Lu Da Hai came in to look for Si Feng and saw Zhou Ping. He flew into a rage and punched Zhou Ping. Soon after, Shi Ping came in as well and tried to stop Da Hai and asked Zhou Ping to run away. Si Feng was very angry with Da Hai and she screamed and ran away from the house. Shi Ping and Da Hai became anxious and ran to look for Si Feng.
Now the scene is at Zhou's house. Da Hai came to look for Zhou Ping and asked where is Si Feng. But Si Feng did not come to his house at all. Then Zhou Ping told him about the pain he is suffering emotionally and mentally, caused by his stepmother Fan Yi. Da Hai felt sorry for him and said he allowed him to run away with his sister Si Feng. Then came Si Feng, Da Hai went to hide cos he did not want his sister to get angry if she sees him.

Si Feng told Zhou Ping that she is willing to give up everything and elope with him. They were very happy to be with each other and wanted to run away at once. And now, came Shi Ping. She tried her best to persuade them not to be together, reason she gave was that Si Feng is from a low-class family and had no education. She is not suitable for Zhou Ping. But they were too in love to care about this!! Then Si Feng suddenly announced that she is actually 3 months pregnant!!! OMG! Shi Ping wanted to faint! coz her own son and her own daughter had sex with each other and now bears a child!!!!! What a SIN!

Shi Ping then kept blaming herself for bringing upon this. She then saw that her two children was so in love with each other, she could not do anything but to let them leave. She also demanded them not to see her and have nothing to do with her anymore. The 2 lovebirds did not know that Zhou Ping is actually her long-lost son! Si Feng was upset and she dragged awhile before deciding to leave and run away with Zhou Ping.

Soon came Fan Yi walking down from upstairs. She asked her son Zhou Chong to snatch back his beloved Si Feng from his brother. Fan Yi's real motive was actually to stop Zhou Ping from running away from home so that she can have him by her side.. Zhou Chong seeing that Si Feng only loved Zhou Ping, he then decided to wish them well and demanded his brother to treat Si Feng well. Fan Yi was extremely angry and kept blaming her son for being stupid, useless, selfish..... What a MOTHER!?!?

Fan Yi was sooo furious that she shouted out so loud that Zhou Pu Yuan from upstairs could hear her. He came down from his room and saw that everybody was there in his hall! He was shocked and asked what's going on. It was raining thunderstorm still at that time. With everyone there and thought that to save the trouble of complications, he revealed that Shi Ping was Zhou Ping's real mother. Now Zhou Ping and Si Feng could not take it, for they are siblings!!!!!!! Pu Yuan only now know that his son had been in love with Si Feng, and got to know the real picture.

Fan Yi then tried to apologise that she did not know that such a thing will happen. She only wanted Zhou Ping to stay by her side. Now Si Feng could not take it anymore and ran out into the thunderstorm rain. Thinking that she could run as far away to escape all these, she stepped onto an unremoved broken electric cable. Zhou Chong ran out to run after Si Feng, and while trying to save her, he touched her and both were electrocuted to death!!!!! They were burnt badly.. The families were devastated.. Zhou Ping went mad.. and took the gun (which Lu Da Hai had brought to the Zhou's house earlier) with him to his room. He then shot himself to death....
Only Zhou Pu Yuan, Fan Yi and Shi Ping were left in the house. Pu Yuan was telling himself why did this happened and cried helplessly. Fan Yi and Shi Ping went crazy..

It was then showed that 10 years later, Fan Yi and Shi Ping were still in a missionary hospital, in unstable mental condition. Pu Yuan went to visit them in winter and asked the nun if anybody had came to visit Shi Ping (Lu Gui & Lu Da Hai). The nun replied that nobody had came before accept him.. Shi Ping still could not recognise anybody.

The show ended with beautiful snow outside the peaceful hospital with Shi Ping sitting by her favourite furniture looking blankly.

Isnt the show interesting? Okay im tired.. Thanks for reading. This is the best play I have ever watched. :)

Singapore Idol!!!~ My Idol!!!!!~

Wowowowow!!! i got tickets to watch Singapore idol finals results show from Diana (Deana) gee... so happie! :D got a chance to see Hady live once again (last time was at Devils Bar so long before SG idols, he was wif his band performin there!!) Hahaha...

The atmosphere in the indoor stadium last nite was fantastic! I felt like "IM SO PART OF SINGAPORE IDOL!!!!" Woohoo!! :p haha.. okok.. im actually quite tired already.. here r some pics for u to enjoy :D

Gee... many ppl wif loads of fun there wif veggie screaming n shouting during the whole show!! :D

I bought snow skin mooncakes today from a brand called Lavender.. gee.. think itz some Malaysian brand but i like the packaging n of course the mooncakes!! :D I mixed them, so i bought 1 pine seed orange skin wif lotus filling, 1 green tea skin, 1 chocolate skin wif choc chip in it and 1 durian skin :D

Nintendo DS Lite!

I am so in love wif this dedicated gaming device by Nintendo, its new and improved DS, Nintendo DS Lite! :D gee.. veggie was bugging me with this cute lil thing since duno when n i wasnt a bit interested at all.. :p

But after seeing all the ads (they even did it in CLEO!!) n seeing some ppl playing wif it on MRT, i just cant help but falling in love with it.. especially the BLUE one! Soooo cute n pretty! :D Now got pink one also!!! ahhhh!!!

It is a dual screen handheld device and has a touch screen wif a stylus for u to interact like chatting n playing wif ur nintendogs!! :p hahaha so cute! got nintencats? :p It uses Wi-Fi for u to connect wirelessly, chat and play with Nintendo DS owners across the globe.. No subscription fee and the svc is free, all u need is the ds and wi-fi ready game.

I personally like the touch-screen feature coz no longer have to move/shift ur characters using just buttons.. now can interact wif ur characters in the game and access menus n inventory by just using the stylus!! I'm actually not very much a gamer myself.. but the having a ds lite to play wif when u r bored is definitely very fun!! just look at the features!! :)

Think SG now sells it at about $300+ wif 1 game.. Hopefully can share money wif veggie n buy 1 for christmas! :D

Forbidden City & Hong Kong

Hey hey the 2 places in the title have got nothing in relation wif each other.. :p

I went to watch Forbidden City: A portrait of an Empress last nite at Esplanade. Gee.. the show was not bad.. maybe itz coz after watching Man of Letters so I felt that the music for forbidden city wasn't as great as the love story musical.. Well well, Kit Chan really sings very well! :D haha i love George Chan ("Gan Seng" in Man of Letters) too!! Veggie's vocal teacher Juliet Pang was there too as part of the ensemble..

Anyway Veggie n I met up wif his SIM frens, Seng & Karen. While on the way to have dinner at Long John Silver first before the musical, Seng was cracking a joke that he forgot about the tickets (his n karen's).. And then he realised tat hez cracking the right joke at the right time, cos he REALLY forgot to bring the tix!! Oh no, n so we still went in to LJS first and he had a drink n left, heading home to get his tix.. Oops.. wat an evening of him.. :p

After the show Karen and I started to chat while on the way to City Hall MRT. She told me loads of stuff about Hong Kong!!~ She actually works in a distributor company and her job requires her to go HK 4 times a yr on buying trips! How lucky!! And she told me she really has a passion for shopping (so do I!!) and told me that she will let me know where to shop for cheap stuffs!! And shez interested in viewing my handmade jewellery!~ Oh gosh i seriously have no time for jewellery these days.. i have loads of materials.. but im just too tired at the end of each day.. :x Anyway ill try my best to get flauntmeshop.com up soon!!! :) Well well, btw had fun talking to Karen.. She is so happy while yakking away about shopping!! Haha, which ger doesn't like shopping!? :p

Veggie n I had plans to go to Hong Kong Disneyland! I am now planning if itz ok for us to go in Jan 2007! :D That will be very off peak for us! And so the expenses will be cheaper!! :D I'm so excited now!! Early this week Zandy brought her HK trip album to office to show Chee Wei n I took a look as well.. WOW!! really wana go HK n disneyland!! Though i heard that HK disneyland is very very small (Karen told us about that tooo...) n there r not much attractions, i still feel that, for a start, I must go there!! coz now no money to go California or Tokyo one.. :x US n Japan holidays are soooo expensive!!!!! :x So so, can only go HK one..

An important Decision

I'm glad that i have made a decision on something very very important in my life. And that is my education. I was in a dilemma on which uni i should apply for. In fact I have finished my 2mths prep course to the bachelor of computer science at ngee ann-adelaide and got an 82% overall score.

I went into forums and saw that the university of adelaide's bachelor of computer science is more for programmers as the modules they teach are more of computer foundation.. not so much of IT and information systems..actually i have an aspiration to become an IT manager, coming up with solutions to systems and managing projects. That's why I felt that is very important for me to get the right degree.

I grumbled to Tracia and Zandy about my indecisive mind.. I told them I'm now deciding among University of Adelaide Comp Science, SIM (UOL) Info Systems & Mgmt, and UniSim ICT.. they all told me SIM (UOL) seems better coz more recognised.. Somemore info sys & mgmt seems to be what i really want.. but the problem is i dun really like to study business subjects...half the no. of modules in the course are biz subjects!! omg.. n so i wasnt sure again......

Then i spoke to Veggie... he gave me very good advice.. he said nowadays a degree is still a degree, the company which u r going to will not look at what subjects u took in ur transcript.. it is what u learn in your degree course (the knowledge u will gain), the working experience (very important) and the professional IT certs (plus points) that u have that are important...

Yes yes he is right.. n i should not let my foundation prep course go into waste since i took up that course coz i wana go into uniade's bach of comp science!!~ n so i have made my decision... :)

WHOW WHOW!! Gee.. had a very happy birthday this yr coz of the greetings, wishes, celebrations and presents!! Gee... im soooo happie!! Thanks to all my friends, colleagues, and loved ones for all your wishes n presents!! :D

Here are pics of my bdae celebration wif frenz4. We went to Yuki Yaki @ Marina Square!! A steamboat + teppanyaki + ice-cream buffet place!! Haha im sure ill go there again soon!! wif veggie! i like the food there n the fun of playing wif the ice cream! :D gee.. oopz but i tink im REALLY GETTING FATTER!!!!! so i better watch out on my diet n exercise more man.. :x

Look! Frenz4 gave me 2 presents! A sweet red polkadot tube top and a pair of cute red polkadot shoes!! Very very matching!! i have a red colored hairband as well!! haha.. but i really wonder if ill wear all 3 of them at the same time.. ill look SO RETRO n a lil kua zhang! haha but i love the presents to bits!! especially the shoes!! (after changing to the correct size) itz very comfy! :D

Gosh itz been SO LONG since i last updated Brownie Land!! Haha.. well i was bz wif work (as usual..) tests, project, was sick for about 1 week... n my silly browniebook crashed..so i had no notebook to use man! :x

Anyway here are updates of pictures.. i told some of my close frens about me going for the Project Superstar Audition on 9th Sep.. but when i went there, it was about 11am only and i queued for about half an hour.. One of the staff there told a section of the queue (where i was in) that we are supposed to go back to the audition venue the next day (oh gosh!!) and we were all given a number tag each!! haha.. i was a lil sian already coz the next day was a Sunday and it was my Birthday! Somemore i really duno wat to wear for audition for the next day!! Hmm.. n so i thought about it for the rest of the day.. And decided tat i dun wana go back for the audition.. coz the whole thing will probably waste too much of my time and wat if they ask me to go there only for some registration (tatz wat i heard from some rumours..) and to go back to mediacorp for the audition on some weekday!! :x was very disappointed.. coz i noe i cant take leave or time off jus for the audition as my buddy at work is on maternity leave for the next 12 weeks (3 weeks has passed..) n im very afraid tat this superstar thing may affect my work.. actually i have thought about this quite some time ago.. itz just tat since reg is free and the audition is on a weekend, mite as well go there for a try :p

Weekend

I had a VERY fruitful weekend last week! Bought $200 worth of jewellery materials!! as well did some shopping and bought a skirt (at 30% discount at Mphosis!) and a Doraemon mousepad with wrist rest! :D Check out the pics!

It's really fun to shop alone, you have all the time and space u need to think clearly of what to buy and what not to buy :D I am serious!!

Look at this! Look at this! My new hair and color n me! Hahaha.. sick of the whole-head-1-color-do for so long already.. its time for a change!! i actually wanted super bright pink strips but somehow my hair too dark so cant bleach enuff.. :p But still i love it!! n the best thing is its sooo cheap!! 3 colors + cut = S$50!~ itz actually a small salon in bedok central (near watsons and guardian that stretch!) hmm and itz opened by 2 young and friendly malay sisters.. So cool right!? They've been ard there fore 3 years! I'm definitely going back for my future hair styling! :p Check my hair out! :D

(Finally!) yes Lush V was the push cart i used to work at in Raffles City :D hmm was so shocked yet happy to see that Lush V now has a shop! gee the shop is very colorful and pretty.. i still love the way her stuffs are being presented.. anyway do check out her store at Dobhy Exchange ya!? shes got some of the most unique bags and jewellery there and also, she has got the latest trendy brand Juicy Couture!

I am currently working on my jewellery webbie.. here are some screen shots of my works.. :p It seems like ppl actually love my jewellery.. so it will be best if i can get my webbie up and going for everyone else to view when they are free.. :p It is going to be a "Collections Website" cos there is no ecommerce feature.. haha coz im not prepared to pay for such service yet :p eCrater is good but i din quite like the web design layout. It's all standard.. Judy's daughter has created her Candyshop (see Hot Spots) in eCrater and i thought that maybe i should have my stuff at somewhere else.. just in case ppl thought i copied her web design (but actually it is a fixed template offered by eCrater).. I need to finish doing the webbie n upload maybe in geocities.. :p and when i have more money to spare.. ill go for the ecommerce ones..

The web design layout is by Andreas Viklund (taken from somewhere from the internet :p) but the pics and logos are done by me. hee... okie will update again!!! im going to chinatown and orchard tomoro to buy more materials!!

Kayaking!~

Yay! i went for my 1-day kayaking course organised by my co's Sports & Recreation Club (SRC) yesterday. Faisal was the in-charge! Itz a Kayaking Orientation Program and if interested, can go for the 1-star, 2-star and so on.. hmm i din take much pics coz cant bring camera out to the sea (or rather the kallang basin :p). It was held at the PA Kallang Sea Sports Club. By the way here are some pics while on the way to the club.. hmm bit difficult to find though :p

Zandy and her bf went too. I guess they must have fun as well, coz me and veggie had loooooaaaads of fun "arguing which direction to go and which direction to paddle!!~~" :p :p geee... yup think we kinda quarelled alot but we laughed alot as well. I was very scared of the Flying fishes when we kayak near Oasis Seafood Restaurant! n i was like screaming away! Kang Wei (one of the instructor) tried to make me even more scared by telling me across that the fishes may just fly into the kayak or if they don't fly in, they will just knock onto the kayak with a "pok pok" sound!! ARGHHH!!! I hate flying stuffs!! i just continued to scream.. Later, veggie told me that he was very very paiseh of my behaviour.. HMPH!! :p

We kayak from the club to Oasis, then to Cosy Bay, then along those Tanjong Rhu condominiums, then towards Sheares Bridge and a lil further. The instructors Daniel and Kang Wei shared with us some stories when they went kayaking out to Ubin and that they kayak not really bcos of the skill but bcos of the expedition they get to go for and able to know more friends thru kayaking.. Hmm quite true.. wouldn it be fun if you are part of such group and you get to have gatherings like these.. Kayak to somewhere then park your craft at the shore and you go camping or bbq-ing.. stay for the nights and chit-chat, play games.. :p this reminds me of all the activities i used to be involved when i was in secondary school.. i was a regular in camps and outings.. but somehow, when i started poly, i just stopped.. wish i am now so young to do all these again :p :p

Finally we kayak back to the club.. some of them tried the Capsize Drill.. i kinda wanted but Veggie was wearing contact lens.. so thought maybe dont want la.. Hmm aniwae think in 2001, i went for a Basic Canoeing Course organised by the Whitley Scorpion Scouts & Rovers. n i did the capsize drill.. It was really fun and exciting during tat one-day course.. Hmm.. i mite b considering to go for the 1-star course maybe at the end of the yr when im not so bz :p hee..

Well realllyy had so much fun.. oh n err.. i suffered lil injuries as well.. like my hands and fingers swollen coz of the position I held on my ores. hmm.. coz the salt water kp dripping onto my head so i keep releasing and used my hands to wipe away.. :p

Okay tats all for now.. hmm heng nv sun-tan till very jia lat.. i actually applied LOADS of Banana Boat Suntannicals sun block!! Haha.. its really effective!! Hmm.. ok it is a successful event!! Well done Abang Faisal!! :D

Life..

Hmm i seem to be blogging non-stop tonite.. i duno.. i just have got so many things to blog about..!

1) According to Zandy's formula and my inputs:
Prep time to work = 1 hr
Journey to work (to & fro) = 1 hr
Work = 10 hrs
After work time = 6 hrs
Sleep = 7 hrs
6 hrs of after-work-time is not enough for me as this includes dinner time and bathing time. Which will probably take a total of 1 hr. That will leave me with 5 hrs. I need 1 hr to check personal emails and surf net, 2 hrs to make jewellery, 2 hrs to play The Sims 2. Sometimes if I have class, my free time will be reduced by about 4 hrs a this includes lesson and journey time. Well.. i probably need to manage my time better, like coming home earlier to do the leisure stuff and also schedule them to be done during weekends if I'm not able to do so on days which I have classes. Hmm...

2) I am very happy and fortunate to be in the best department in my company. That is Insureline. I like the environment it gives me. I have wonderful colleagues and nice HOS & HOD. The other HOSs are nice ppl too. :) I am proud that we are one of the key contact points where business for the company comes in. The dept is also not just about meeting targets, but also about fun and care amongst all the IL ppl. Every month there will be birthday celebrations for the birthday babies and there will be cakes and presents :) The dept office is always kept as clean as possible and I am really appreciative of the cleaning assistants who had done a good job. Keep it up!!~

3) Life for me currently is quite good! :D Hopefully will remain this way forever.. :)

4) I seem to be a lil disappointed with an ordinary fren recently. Each and every ppl wants to be happy in life. Why not look on a brighter side of things and be happier.. I just heard that they have all moved on. And so I am glad :)

5) I think I need to sleep.. good nites.. :)

I am a super big The Sims 2 fan and maniac! ive got almost all The Sims 2 expansions & stuff: The Sims 2 University, The Sims 2 Nightlife, The Sims 2 Open for Business and The Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff!!~ Haha.. now the latest is The Sims 2 Pets but haven "layed my hands" on it yet.. maybe soon la.. :p (but seriously.. how to find time to play so many things!!??)

Hmm from the Original The Sims, i have played almost all The Sims expansions before EXCEPT The Sims Livin' Large & The Sims Unleashed (haha y isit tat i always dun get to play pets game?) Namely: The Sims House Party, The Sims Hot Date, The Sims Vacation, The Sims Superstar & The Sims Makin' Magic!!~

Haha!! okay here r the screenshots from my Sims 2 game..

The family above is called Baracudda (!!??) and initially Ashley and Steve were a couple and after long dating they decided to get engaged and then eventually got married. Soon after a few woohoos they had a baby girl named Meggie and she was brought up very well by her lovey parents and responsible nanny (cant rmb her name)! She grew up to become a young teenager and went to The Sims State University and graduated with a Bachelor in Economics. She stayed in a house at the University town during the college period.

And because her parents are worried that their daughter may never come back to them after graduation, they adopted a black girl named Caroline and shez a really nice and obedient child. However, Meggie did went back home after graduation and invited the headmaster of a prestigious private school for dinner with the family at home. But it seems like the school only wants SUPER RICH kids.. so somehow they failed in winning the headmaster over. Anyway the parents got old and everybody just love one another in the family. :)

Soon, Meggie moved out so that she can start afresh. She then worked from a medical assistant to an intern. The next career development for her will probably be a GP. Haha.. she had developed most of the skills required for the jobs she had taken up and im quite sure that she will be able to succeed in achieving the dream career she aspires to have.. Umm sounds weird to be in economics major and be a doctor in the end huh.. i duno y leh but it seems like as long as she has got sufficient skills, she is able to take up the job that she wants.. :p

Currently Meggie is dating Benjamin Long, a young guy from Pleasantview Neighbourhood and we shall see how they progress..

Hello im in a super duper happy mood now.. coz i got my bdae present in advance!! errm sounds weird to get my present so early but itz ok coz i noe tat ill be very very very happy for quite a long time with this present!!

Gee me n veggie were supposed to go to The Rice Table at International Building at Orchard but both there and Cuppage were fully reserved.. hmm so in the end we went to pepper lunch instead.. :) gee as usual i had my super nice chicken+hamburger rice set and veggie had his curry beef pepper rice set :) So fulll!!

And then we went window shopping and we were walking around Isetan Orchard at Wisma and I saw Che2! A younger range from Che Che New York!! OMG! and i fell in love with the cats on the bags! haha soooo cute!!!! :p n so after much much consideration, i decided to ask veggie to get the green one for me for my bdae.. n bcoz only left one new one and there is a discount of 20%, i felt tat i shld wait no more! :p haha too me the bag is quite expensive.. but the quality and cutieness just win me over :D

hmm maybe u will feel that it looks normal coz veggie felt so too.. but i just do not think tat way! coz its Che Che!! :D i can feel it when i carry the bag!

Oh they gave me a pink environmental friendly shopping bag for my new Che2 handbag. And i actually asked for a small one as well so i can keep.. in the end i got 1 small one n 1 medium one.. so now i have 3 sizes! :D *Kiasu*

OMG veggie thank u sosososososososososooooooooooo much for the bag! Though therez nothing much i can look fwd to (i mean present for me) for our bdae celebration in september, i will still be happy to wana spend a nice date with u (with my Che2 bag)! haha im still so badly in love with you.. :p omg im so mushhhiiiieeee.. :x oh now must think of wat to get for you for your bdae liao! :p Good nites!!!

Super Weekend

Had a tiring but fun weekend on Friday n Saturday..

Friday: KTV @ Orchard Partyworld wif Income colleagues & friends. (Zandy, Joanne Goh, Huiyi, Faisal, Chee Wei, Kim Hian, Manoj, Clarence, Jeremy, Joann Kho, Mark Kun)

Well, though there were so many ppl, i still get to sing quite a fair bit coz half the grp r not singing!! :x they probably just enjoyed the entertainment the karaoke ppl r givin them.. :p We were celebrating Joann Kho and Kim's bdae so gt a cake for them.. Hmm.. felt that the whole thing was quite fun coz got to hear ppl sing n got to laugh at some ppl as well!! :x but i wasn the only one laughing aniwae! :p :p Overall it was 8/10 fun outing! :D

Saturday: Jane's 23rd Birthday Celebration

We went to Cineleisure's Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe at Level 2. It is a new restaurant there and they actually sell very good oriental food!! And some western stuff as well.. Hmm above u can see what we have ordered.. n i specially recommend the Milo Dinosaur.. It is the best "Mei Lu Kong Long" i have ever tried!!!~ Haha.. Aniwae during dinner, Hazel shared some of her crazy jokes wif us again n as usual we laugh till we tot we wana roll on the floor! Hahaha... :D

After dinner, we walked all the way from Somerset to ard Selegie to Hark Music Cafe. It is a very nice place with all the romantic deco and good songs! Hmm.. i tink better than Mu Chuan coz they got more musicians there n they are really impressive! Well Fri n Sat's programme is for customers to go up n sing song n so i went up n sang "Wo Zhen De Shou Shang Le". It is such a sad song though it was supposed to b Janez Bdae Celebration~ n the worse thing was i kinda had some stage fright n was a lil frozen when the musician-cum-host asked me to say something to my "fans" below! n i forgot to say itz my good fren Jane's bdae n to say happy bdae to her!! ARGH! n went i came dwn after singing, hazel n tracia was like "scolding" me n said y i nv say anitin bout Janez bdae!!?? Haha.. oops.. im soo sorry Jane, i really din mean to forget but i really had a lil stage fright which i tot i won have!! :x :x But after all she said she liked the whole programme for tonight :D im glad shez happie :)

Yup we gave her a pink adidas shoulder bag and a pink esprit wallet! i tot that the presents are very pretty and sweet :) She said she loved them and we are happy!! :D Haha.. Oh we stayed till about 1am and then we parted and headed back home. It was a really really enjoyable nite wif my dearest frenz4.. itz alwaes my frens whom i can share my laughter n sorrows wif n itz them who make my life brighter during my darker days~

OMG! David Tao just released his new album Beautiful on 4th Aug. Kev ordered for the album at HMV n he just got the CD on the release date. Haah we r crazie David Tao fans!! Hmm.. i would say that his new album is NOT very impressive coz itz pretty much his style n sounds abit like his previous albums.. a lil disappointed. but still they are very nice!! :p :p

Aniwae i went to city hall to meet veggie after his work n we went to bugis to shop for jane's 2nd present (which is supposed to be shared by hazel, trace n me) for her 23rd bdae.. Hmm finally got the thing though i had spent quite a fair bit of time looking for what is really good n sweet for her.. haha cant disclose too much here huh.. er hem!! :p

But hey look wat ive got before we went to bugis!! i was window shopping ard citylink mall before kev came n i bought this sweet necklace!! haah ive been looking for it high n low! actually there r many places which sell this but they r all toooo expensive which i won pay for! this one costs only $6.90 n the quality is pretty ok!~

Very pretty aint it? haha.. im so happie.. im so in a national day mood! everything im looking for now is red and white! :p gona make sure im in my national wear on national day eve to office! REDS & WHITES!

OMG i just caught the results show of SG idol for this week.. omg Jay is out! Haiz.. i duno wat to say man.. I feel that Joakim should be the one who is out.. Haah y izit that itz alwaes the good ones are out..? So sad.. I think Jay has got that pair of smoky n sexy eyes which are really really captivating!~ I really enjoy watching him singing! Best thing, hez one of the very good ones on the show! Hmm.. All the best to u Jay!! I will miss u!
